Build some kind of home automation has been dream of mine for a while. When you go to kitchen at the morning, morning news will be automatically played etc. I will collect some of the ideas to here for my own notes, hopefully it helps others too. Feel to throw your notes here too. :)

Most likely I will do most of the hacks with RaspberryPi.
