Ham satellite tracking with sony ptz camera
Background
i've got few Sony ipela PTZ cameras on my hands, and just for fun started to think what to do with them.
Cameras are controllable via http(s) with sony proprietary cgi commands --link to documents --
Ham Radio Deluxe’s Satellite Tracking / orbitron (probably many more) tracking software can calculate your position to satellite and offer that data via DDE (sigh!)
Conclusion! lest track satellites with camera ptz, build some antennas and listen satellites with sdr-rtl!
