Vehicle to Android via Bluetooth

The goal

• Enable communication from an automotive vehicle bus to an Android device and vice versa
  • There are many automotive busses available like CAN or GMBus
  • This project concentrates on IBus at first
• Interesting information:
  • Steering wheel buttons like volume+, volume-, back, forward, telephone, menu etc
  • Ambient lighting level inside
  • Speed
  • Temperature
  • ...
