Tampere by night

I've often had the urge to enter the city's night and capture its creatures like Stefan Bremer in the late 70s. In recent years, family life has not allowed too many changes to do so, so I was stoked when we decided to head out to the darkening October evening to visit the festival of lights with the whole family.
While these are not the rowdy nightlife shots I yearned after, it was fascinating to see what my tiny Ricoh GR IIIx was capable of in low light. Some of these photos are shot up to ISO 20 000, which turned out to be quite usable still, especially with black and white photos.
